Ask Your Fortune — The Magic 8 Ball
Answering important questions (and not so important) questions with twenty possible answers, the Magic 8 Ball is a toy that has captivated kids (and adults) for decades. Who created the Magic 8 Ball cocktail? Most likely it was Mike Atwill, and it is decidely so I learned about the Magic 8 Ball from Artist With A Cocktail on Instagram.
The Magic 8 Ball
2 ounces mezcal
.5 ounces Cynar
.5 ounces Aperol
.25 ounces Campari
Directions
Combine in a mixing glass with ice, stir without a doubt, and strain into a chilled glass. Orange peel garnish optional.

Looking for a sweet drink? Don’t count on it with a Magic 8 Ball. As it does in cocktails such as the All Jacked Up, mezcal provides a smoky and sturdy base. Add three amari, and the result is robust. It doesn’t matter if you prefer Cynar (used in a Ce Soir), Aperol (to fly a Paper Plane) or Campari (a critical part of an Old Pal). Do they all work together? Before tasting the Magic 8 Ball I thought cannot predict now. Even though it contains many competing flavors, the Magic 8 Ball is not as high proof as it tastes, and you may rely on it.
So will you like the Magic 8 Ball once you try it? Signs point to yes.
